Brett J. Sigafus

Age 61, of Browntown, passed peacefully into God's loving arms on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at Monroe Health Services. Brett was born on July 21, 1963 in Monroe, the son of John and Rita (Rockow) Sigafus. He had a wonderful time growing up in Browntown with many neighborhood buddies to get into mischief. He was a 1981 graduate of Monroe High School and a member of Peace Church in Browntown.

Brett had an incredibly funny sense of humor and had a way of making anyone laugh. He loved driving semi and playing guitar.

He is survived by his loving mother, Rita Sigafus; sons, Isaac Sigafus, Jake Heins, Jeremy Heins, and their mother, Denise Baker; and two grandsons, Jaxon and Raylan Heins. He was preceded in death by his father, John; and brother, Perry.

A private family graveside service will be held in Union Cemetery, South Wayne, at a later date. A memorial fund will be established in Brett's name. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
