Cecilia M. "Cece" Klemm
Age 77 of Monroe, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Monroe Clinic. Cece was born March 19, 1938 in Monroe, the daughter of Anton and Agatha (Bruggmann) Grawehr. She grew up in a cheese factory in Wiota Township and graduated from Monroe High School in 1956. She married Ronald R. Klemm on June 7, 1958 at St. Victors Catholic Church. Cece started working at the Old Fashioned Ice Cream Store in Monroe at the age of 17 and was employed at the Swiss Colony for 32 years before retiring in 2007. She was a member of St. Victor Catholic Church and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Cece enjoyed her daily walks and visits to the Monroe Library.
She is survived by four children, Greg (Ellen) Klemm of San Antonio, TX, Lauri (Kevin) Gille of South Wayne, Mark (Linda) Klemm of South Beloit, IL, and Becky (Dave) West of Antigo; eleven grandchildren, Ali, Abby, Matthew, Amie (Nicholas) Spence, Stephanie, Michael, Christian, Rachel, Ryan, Adam, and Ava; a sister, Mary Ann (Tom) Jagoda of Freeport, IL; a sister-in-law, Alma Grawehr of Browntown; and extended grandchildren, Kyle, Lizzy, and Tatum. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ron, on August 8, 2006; a brother, Antone "Tony" Grawehr; and aunts, Bertha and Marie Grawehr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 9, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church with Father Larry Bakke, celebrant. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe. Visitation will be at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, on Sunday from 4:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. with a rosary service at 6:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established in Cecilia's name.
