Charla L. Cummins

Age 74 of Monroe, died Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg surrounded by family. Charla was born on July 2, 1944 in Rockford, the daughter of Charles and Louise (Niece) Ainsworth. She graduated from Freeport High School and was united in marriage to George Cummins.

She is survived by four children, Dan (Michelle) Cummins of Cahoma, TX, April Wise of Dakota, IL, Esther Cummins of Monroe, and Rachel Cummins of Monroe; five grandchildren, F. Matthew, Stephanie, Alex, Levi, and Samantha; three great grandchildren, Bentley, Leilana, and Athena; and a brother, Charles Ainsworth Jr. of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1998; an infant son, Jeff; and two granddaughters, Nichole and Danielle.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, March 25, 2019, at 10:30 a.m., at the Freeport Mennonite Church, 3416 E. Brick School Road, Freeport.
