Diana S. Clark

Age 69, of Monticello, died unexpectedly on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at SSM Monroe Hospital. Diana was born on August 5, 1954 in Eldorado, Kansas, the daughter of Harold and Carol Meier. She married Greg L. Clark on May 5, 1971. Diana worked at the Monticello House, Jack Links, and most recently Casey's General Store. She loved collecting anything to do with horses, fishing at area lakes, and rooting for the Chicago Bears and Cubs. She was short of stature, but had a larger than life personality.

Diana is survived by her husband, Greg Clark of Monticello; two sons, Jay (Kendra) of Brodhead, Troy (Ruby) of Browntown; three grandchildren, Brianna, Griffin, and Parker; two sisters, Catherine (Tom) Diddens of Freeport, and Patricia Burnett of Iowa. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her twin sister, Donna Blair.

A celebration of Diana's life will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Monroe. Inurnment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Monticello. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday, Aug. 19, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
