Donald W. Raasch

Age 65 of Brodhead, formerly of Monroe, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Monroe Manor Nursing Home. Don was born in Wausau, WI on April 21, 1948, the son of Roland and Germaine (Friederf) Raasch. He graduated from D.C. Everest High School and farmed in Arcadia and Monroe, WI before retiring.

He is survived by four children, Tracy (Scott) Kulas of Rosholt, WI, Tara (Josh) Nellessen of Elderon, WI, Patti Raasch(Jerry Hegewald) of Eland, WI, and Ken Raasch of Plover, WI; five grandchildren, Cassandra, Taylor, Hailey, Emma, and Lily; and four brothers, Ronald (Suzanne), Richard (Marguerite), Roger (Sandra), and Russell Raasch. He was preceded in death by his parents and his best friend, John Bauman.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, with Pastor Mary Gafner officiating. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
