Elizabeth J. "Betty" Daly, age 82, of Monroe, WI, formerly of Clinton, Iowa, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2021 after battling Alzheimer's disease and other health issues. Betty was born on May 3, 1938 in Dubuque, IA, to Alfred and Lucille (Mesch) Bleile. She was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Clinton and employed for many years at Collis Toolholder Corp. She enjoyed going to Wild Rose Casino, playing Yahtzee and Bingo, doing word search puzzles, and watching Green Bay Packer football. Betty also loved cooking, anything Elvis, and spending time with her family. She relocated to Monroe in 2020 to be near her daughter.

Betty is survived by three children, Dean Daly of Norcross, GA, Dawn Daly of Clinton, and Debra (James) Russo of Monroe; seven grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; sisters, Lois Hess, Sandra Wagar, both of Dubuque, Rita (Rick) Patters of East Dubuque, IL; and two brothers, Lyle (Mickey) Bleile of Rockford, IL, Kenny (Margaret) Bleile of Belvidere, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother; two sisters; a niece and two nephews; and her former husband, Darlo Daly.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 1329 31 ^st . Ave, Monroe, with Monsignor Larry Bakke officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at a later date in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Balltown, Iowa.
