Harold L. Pieper

Age 84, of Monroe, died on April 3, 2024 at Monroe Clinic Hospice Home. Harold was born on February 27, 1940 in Illinois, the son of Gerald and Erna (Lohmeir) Pieper. He was united in marriage to Shirley J. Diehl on May 5, 1995 in Milwaukee. Harold lived and worked in Colorado most of his adult life. He and Shirley moved to Green County in 1999 where they were members of the Monroe Bible Church. Harold loved anything to do with John Deere Tractors.

He is survived by two step-daughters, Debbie (Rich) Wilson of Eden, WI, Vicki (Randy) Medrow of Brown Deer, WI; a nephew, Gerry (Sharon) Pieper; and many other great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley, on Jan. 10, 2022; son, Jamie; and a brother, Kendall.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, with Pastor Troy Watson officiating. Inurnment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe. There will be no visitation. Memorials are suggested in Harold's name to the American Diabetes Association.
