James E. Connors

Age 88 of Monroe, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at his home in Monroe. James was born March 6, 1926 in Edgerton, WI, the son of Leo Patrick and Genevieve Connors. He married Estelle Muth on May 24, 1952 in Waukegen, IL.

He is survived by his wife Estelle Connors of Monroe; a brother, Brian L. (Linda) Connors of Janesville; a sister, Helen J. Ford of Packwaukee, WI; brother-in-law, Joseph B. Forrestal of Janesville; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Forrestal; and a brother-in-law, Frederick Ford.

A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 26, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church, 1760 14 ^th Street, Monroe, with Father Larry Bakke, Celebrant. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at a later date in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the Apostolate to the Handicapped or a charity of ones choice. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
