Jessica L. Davis

Age 32 of Monroe, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at her home. Jessica was born on September 6, 1983 in Monroe, the daughter of Thomas O. and Joy L. (Bates) Ward. She graduated from Monroe High School in 2002 and attended Blackhawk Technical College. Jessica's first love was her family which includes her husband, Brady; parents, Thomas and Joy Ward; a brother, Jon Thomas Ward; a sister, Jennifer (Pat) Grindey- Graham and their children, Sonya, Gavin, Lucas, and Casey, all of Monroe; her maternal grandmother, Donita Schliem of South Wayne; paternal grandfather, Colin (Cindy) Ward of Darlington; paternal grandmother, Ellen Cox of Shullsburg; father and mother-in-law, Alan (Julie) Davis of Springfield, MO; brother-in-law, Brad (Lucy) Davis and their son, Lincoln. Jessica will also be dearly missed by her loving companion, Beemo. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Herbert Bates; and an uncle, Joseph Ward. Jessica enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, camping, and doing crafts.

A visitation will be held for Jessica on Wednesday, October 14, 2015, from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Twining Park West Pavilion with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. John Wesley Lee officiating. A memorial fund will be established in Jessica's name. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
