Joan M. Russell

Age 68, of Monroe, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 22, 2023, at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Joan was born on July 12, 1955 in Cuba City, the daughter of Frank and Kathleen (Olson) Russell. Joan was a 1973 graduate of Black Hawk High School in South Wayne and worked as a nurses aide at St. Clare Hospital for several years. She has been a resident of Pleasant View since 2014.

Joan is survived by seven siblings, Frances Kaye Caley, Betty Jones, Dorothy Seffrood, Jacquelyn Burmeister, Karen Russell, Barbara (Don) Giesen, Keith (Joyce) Russell; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, James.
