Joseph A. Rupprecht, age 91, of Monroe, formerly of Jefferson, passed away in his sleep on Saturday, November 30, 2024. Joe was born on December 12, 1932 to Walter and Eleanor (Waleske) Rupprecht. Joe married his soulmate, Donna (Schollmeyer) Ladwig, in June, 2003. Joe and Donna shared many happy times traveling and taking their weekly trip to the casino.

Joe is survived by his wife, Donna; children, Barbara (Willard) Koele, Kathleen Klein, Annette (Bryan) Sklar, Joseph (Nelda) Rupprecht, John (Peggy) Rupprecht, and an adoptive daughter, Robin; step-children, Gordon Ladwig, William (Karma) Ladwig, Jeanne (Greg) Schwartzlow;  and many grandchildren, great- grandchildren,  and great- great- grandchildren. He is further survived by a sister, Catherine Griffin; brothers, Larry (Mary), Raymond (Cheryl), Robert (Nancy); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Sister Celestine O.S.F., Helen Jacobson, Margaret Wendt, and baby sister, Mary, who died at birth; brother, William; brothers-in-law, Leroy Jacobson, Herb Wendt, Robert Griffin; and sister-in-law, Margaret (Karl) Fetting.

A memorial mass will be held in Jefferson, WI at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested in Joe's name to St. John the Baptist Catholic Church renovation fund, 324 E.
