Joyce J. Root

Age 77 of Orangeville, IL, died on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Monroe Clinic Hospital. Joyce was born on June 15, 1939 the daughter of Glenn and Muriel (Hillaker) Parrott. She lived most of her life in Michigan until moving to Clarno Township in 2008.

She is survived by two sons, William (Pam) Root of Clio, MI, and Paul D. Root (James Mapley) of Grand Blanc, MI; two granddaughters, Sara (Tim) Kumar and Erika (Robert) Stanley; two great grandsons, Chase and Reed Kumar; three sisters; one brother; and her longtime companion, Gary Klocke of Orangeville and his great grandchildren, Gavin and Jordan Klocke.

Cremation rites will be accorded and a memorial service will be held in Michigan. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family. Condolences may be share at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
