Judie A. Meier

Age 79, of Browntown, died unexpectedly on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at her home. Judie was born on July 6, 1941 in Madison, the daughter of Robert and Mildred Blake. She was married to Duane Meier for several years before his death in 2014. Judie worked as a nurses aide at Pleasant View Nursing Home for over 20 years before retiring. She enjoyed crafts, sewing, and raising schnauzers.

She is survived by two children, Deborah Cutler of Browntown, Robert L. Blake of Madison; grandchildren, Jamie (Ben) Smith, Danielle Blake (Matthew Fisher), Jezmin Blake (Bradley Munz), Nicholas (Jessica) Walker, Jeffrey Miller; great grandchildren, Mercedes Thomas, Alexus Hellwig, Anthony Crampton, Aaliyah Fisher, David Smith, Ava Collins, Serenity Fisher, and one on the way; great greatgrandson, Kyrie, with one on the way; and a brother, Benjamin Blake of Blue Mounds. In addition to her husband, Judie was preceded in death by a son, Todd Johnson in 2013; and two sisters, Donna Meland and Roberta Johnson.

Cremation rites will be accorded and no public services will be held at this time. Inurnment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Madison. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
