Kathryn S. Hartwig
Age 96 of Monroe, died Saturday, January 19, 2019 at Azura Memory Care. Kathryn was born on May 27, 1922 in Monroe, the daughter of Fred and Emma (Kubly) Bleiler. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1940. Kathryn married Bernard K. Hartwig on June 1, 1985 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. In her younger years, Kathryn was an avid bowler and enjoyed fishing, camping, and crocheting. She loved spending the holidays with her family.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Wuethrich of Monroe; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bernard, on October 6, 2007; a brother-in-law, Paul Wuethrich; a niece, Donna Brunhoefer; a nephew, Jerry Wuethrich; and her special dog, Brandi.

Private graveside services will be at a later date in St. George's Cemetery, Kenosha, WI. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
