Lettyjane Studer

Age 88, of Monroe, died Thursday, November 30, 2023 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe. Letty was born on January 8, 1935 in Richland Center, WI, the daughter of LaVerne and Marie (Ferguson) Adams. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1954 and was united in marriage to Frederick Studer on March 2, 1957 in Iowa.

Letty was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Monroe Homemakers Club, and volunteered for the American Red Cross. She always enjoyed motorcycle trips and traveling with Fred, bowling, golfing, and was a sports enthusiast. Above all she was a great mother to her five children and always loved hearing about her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Ernie (Barbra), Laurie (Dan) Crandall, David (Cathy), Greg (Jane), Rose (Adam) Bauer; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Elizabeth Adams; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Fred, on November 23, 2017; sister, Geraldine (Gordon) Stauffacher; and brother, Gerald Adams.

Private family services will be held Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, with Rev. Todd Hackman officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe.
