LuAnn M. Meier

Age 49, of Monroe, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 18, 2023 at her home. LuAnn was Monroe Hospital's New Years baby, born on January 3, 1974 to Dennis and Beth (Bunting) Meier. In her younger years, LuAnn worked at Greenco and more recently American Family Insurance. She also volunteered at the Green County YMCA, enjoyed sewing, and was an avid music fan, especially Rick Astley. In her youth she was a member of Brownies, Green County 4-H, and 5 Day Club. LuAnn accepted Christ at the age of 4 and had a strong faith in God.

She is survived by her mother, Beth (William) Cook of Janesville. Preceded in death by her father; and two uncles, Russell and Timothy Meier.

A celebration of LuAnn's life will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the Monroe Bible Church. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
