Marjorie Ruth Bliss, age 82 of Monroe, passed away on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at her home. The former Marjorie Petoskey daughter of the late Robert and Irene (Kloha) Petoskey was born February 20. 1934 in Bay City, Michigan. She married Thomas Bliss on August 10, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan. He preceded her in death on November 19, 2014. She worked in Medical Records for many years. She was a member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church and volunteered at Monroe Clinic Hospital and Behring Senior Center.
She is survived by 2 daughters Michelle Luther (Don) of Lafayette, Minnesota; Cheryl Kraus (Lyle) of Monroe; 1 son Mark Bliss of Belleville, Wisc. 5 grandchildren 1 special niece and nephew and 1 special aunt.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, June 24, 2016 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church Msgr. Larry Bakke officiating.
