Mary is survived by her five children, Susan (Chester) Watson of Scotia, NY, Wayne (Patricia) Johnson of Sarasota, FL, Lynn Johnson of Greenfield, WI, Judi (Dan) Henke of Monroe, WI; and Laurie (Peter) Byrne of Brookfield, WI; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and two sisters, Elizabeth Wolansky of Fort Wayne, IN and Joan Geometti of Merrionette Park, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, and her sister, Rita McDonald of Chicago.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church, 1760 14 th Street, Monroe, with Father Larry Bakke officiating. Private family entombment will be at a later date at the Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Union Grove, WI. Visitation will be at the church on Monday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to Pleasant View Nursing Home, who took such loving care of her husband, Alvin, who passed away November 20, 2013. The family wishes to thank the staff of Aster Retirement Community and the caregivers from the Monroe Clinic Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mary.
