Michael J. Knox, 67 of Monroe, formerly of Crystal Lake, IL, died unexpectedly on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Monroe Health Services. Born December 29, 1951, in Woodstock, IL, Michael was the son of Robert W. Sr. and Norma (Hiller) Knox. Michael was a 1968 graduate of Crystal Lake Central High School, where he won the Crystal Lake Football All-Conference Award his senior year. Michael worked at Midwest Well in Huntley, IL for several years and St. Vincent DePaul in Monroe for 10 years.  He enjoyed all sports and especially spending time with his large family.

Michael is survived by his siblings, Judy (Kenneth) Stoerp of Garden Prairie, IL., Janet Weidner of Lake Barrington, IL., Theodore Knox of Monroe, WI, Timothy (Cheryl) Knox of Monroe, WI, Mary Hafferkamp of Rockton, IL., Robert W. (Kelly) Knox Jr. of Monroe, WI, and Annette (Chris) Adrian of Rolling Meadows, IL; many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and best friends, Bill Bacon and Mark Nelson. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Joseph P. Knox and James John Knox.
