Myra B. Gobeli, age 92, a long time resident of Browntown, died on Friday, December 23, 2022 at the home of her daughter. Myra was born on August 30, 1930, in Lamont, WI, the daughter of Gerald and Helen (Martin) Olson. Myra graduated from Argyle High in 1948 and was united in marriage to Theodore L. Gobeli on June 26, 1948. He preceded her in death on June 17, 1988.

She worked as a cook at Lee's Gaslight and seasonally at the Swiss Colony. Myra loved animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by her eight children, Randy (Teresa) of Winnebago, IL, Ron (Vickie) of Monroe, Richard (Gerry Ann) of Winter Park, FL, Jerry (Ernestina) of Madison, Dave (Lori) of Lakeview, AR, Wendy (Frank) Warner of Edgerton, Marty (Bonnie) of Browntown, Vicki (Joe) Pizzolato of Monroe; many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Gobeli of Woodford. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Theodore; a son, Daniel; three grandsons, Corey Becker, Brad Ammann, Zachary Gobeli; a sister, Melva Olson; and a brother, Darr Olson.

Private family graveside services will be held in the spring at Saucerman Cemetery, rural Browntown. A memorial fund will be established in Myra's name for the Browntown Fire Department. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
