Nancy Kay (George) Iverson

Age 78 of Monroe, passed away at her daughter's home on Saturday, December 6, 2014. Nancy was born on October 21, 1936 in Gays Mills, WI to Gordon and Ardell (Adair) George. She graduated from Gays Mills High School in 1954, U.W. LaCrosse in 1958, and received her Masters Degree in Education from U.W. Platteville in 1969. Nancy married Donald Iverson in January, 1959 in Soldiers Grove, WI. She was a teacher for over 35 years in Oregon, WI, Platteville, WI, and Fernandina, Florida.

Nancy is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Craig) Iverson Patchin of Monroe, and Tori Iverson Armstrong of Prairie du Chein; six grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; her ex-husband, Don Iverson of Platteville; and a bichon named Gabby.

Per Nancy's request, cremation rites were accorded and no services will be held. Memorial donations are suggested to Rivers and Bluff Animal Shelter, PO Box 421, Prairie du Chein, WI 53821 in honor of Nancy's favorite roommate, Gabby.
