Sigrid Margarete Muehlhauser

Age 80 of Monroe, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Sigrid was born July 31, 1934 in Sturgeon Bay, WI, the daughter of John Otto and Emilie (Taubald) Muehlhauser. She graduated from High School in Sturgeon Bay and attended MacMurray College in Jacksonville, IL. She worked as a Physician's Assistant for several years and was a former member of the Moravian Church in Sturgeon Bay. She loved to travel, snow ski, tell stories, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan. She was known for her bright blue eyes, beautiful smile, and great attitude toward life. Sig will be dearly missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her brother, Helmut C. Muehlhauser of St. Louis, MO; a nephew, Chuck W. Muehlhauser of St. Louis; two nieces, Susie (Scott) Iiams and Beth Muehlhauser, both of Kansas City, MO; a great niece, Callie Iiams; and a great nephew, Jason Iiams.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. at Bayside Cemetery in Sturgeon Bay. Visitation will be at the Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers a memorial fund will be established for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
