Stephanie Renee Scott, age 35, of Monroe, sadly passed away on January 1, 2024 after a long and difficult battle with cancer. Stephanie was born on September 28, 1988 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Glenn and Kim Scott. She was a graduate of Monroe High School and worked at several jobs throughout the Monroe community until declining health. Regardless of the health issues she faced, Stephanie was full of life and enjoyed spending time with her friends and cats. She was extremely intelligent and was always able to make the best of any situation. She was very resourceful and was always able to make the best of any difficulty regardless of what life threw at her. Stephanie had a great sense of humor and enjoyed sharing this with others.

She will be deeply missed by her brothers, Nathaniel and Justin Scott; her aunts, Maureen and Melissa Scott; and an uncle, Michael Scott. She will never be forgotten and always remain in their hearts.

A celebration of Stephanie's life will be held in the Spring. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family.
