Tony A. Abplanalp

Age 67 of Monroe, died Tuesday, May 7, 2019 at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Monroe, where he has resided since 2013. Tony was born on December 27, 1951 in Monroe, the son of Albert and Charlotte J. (Baumgartner) Abplanalp. Tony enjoyed spending most of his life on his family's farm just outside of Juda. He loved helping his nieces with their animals and doing some chores. Tony is survived by a brother, Alex (Sharon) Abplanalp; a sister, Charlotte Abplanalp, both of Juda; two nieces, Cally (Jason) Ehle of Stoughton, and Grace Abplanalp of Juda; and three great nieces, Danielle, Katherine, and Rebecca. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant niece.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, May 13, 2019, at 2:00 p.m., at Greenwood Cemetery, Monroe, with Rev. Kelly Jahn of the Zion United Methodist Church, Juda, officiating. Memorials are suggested in Tony's name to Friends of Pleasant View, P.O. Box 733, Monroe. The NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, Monroe, is assisting the family.
