Travis G. Shippy

Age 40, of Oregon, WI, formerly of Monroe, died on Thursday, November 13, 2025 as the result of an automobile accident. Travis was born on August 20, 1985 in Monroe, the son of Alan and Jenell (Paulson) Shippy. Following his graduation from Monroe High School in 2003, Travis was employed as a custodian at the school for a few years. He studied online business at Columbia College and accounting and finance online at Penn State University. He was currently employed as a pharmacy Technician at CVS and as an associate banker at BMO Bank. Travis obtained a 4th degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, was an avid San Francisco 49ers fan, and enjoyed watching WWE & WWF. Above all, he loved his family and would do anything for them.

He is survived by his mother, Jenell Shippy of Monroe; sister, Erin (Brandon) Rudisill of Winslow, IL; brother, Lane (Chenice) Shippy of Apple River, IL; and a niece, Lila Rudisill. He was preceded in death by his father in 2017; and maternal and paternal grandparents.
