Vicente Torres Rico

Age 48, of Monroe, WI, formerly of Rockford, IL, died on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at SSM Monroe Hospital. Vince was born on February 12, 1976 in Michoacan, Mexico to Vicente Torres Torres and Ma. Salud Rico.  Vicente lived in Rockford for many years until moving to Monroe in 2021. He has been an employee at McDonald's Restaurants for 25 years and was currently the manager at the Brodhead, WI location.

Vince was full of life even when dealing with many medical issues. He loved helping his friend with Rodeos and wrestling events. He was always down for a party! He enjoyed spending time with his children and taking trips with his girlfriend.  He made everyone smile whether he was flirting with the nurses or saying something silly to make you laugh. Vince will be missed be a lot of family and friends as he touched many lives. He chose to be an organ donor to help others in need.

He will be dearly missed by his fiancée, Carrie Carpenter of Monroe; two children, Gisselle Torres and Vicente Torres Jr., both of Rockford; his father Vicente of Mexico; his siblings, Gabriela Torres of Rockford, Carmen Torres, Candy Torres, and Hugo Torres, all of Mexico; nephews, Juan Daniel and Jose Omar Torres; and great niece, Luna. He was preceded in death by his mother.

A celebration of Vince's life will be held Friday, November 22, 2024, from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Veracruz Market and Restaurant, 1506 31st. Avenue, Monroe.
