Vickie J. Novak

Age 70, of Argyle, died on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at SSM Monroe Hospital. Vickie was born on June 13, 1954 in Harvard, IL, the daughter of Harry and Betty (Lantis) Novak. She graduated from Harvard High School and has been a resident of Argyle for many years. She was employed as a cashier at the Argyle Petro Mart for the last 20 years. Vickie enjoyed gardening, baking, and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. She loved her pet Pomeranian, Honey.

Vickie will be dearly missed by her long time significant other, John Schaid of Argyle; daughter, Jessica (Tim) Ryan; grandchildren, Teagan, Desyrae, and Ellie; siblings, Richard (Debbie) Novak, Gary Novak, Bonnie (James) Reese, Kathy (Ken) Dallmann, Holly DeJohn; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother-in-law, John DeJohn.

A celebration of Vickie's life will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., at W9305 Lewis Road, Argyle. The Newcomer Funeral Home, Monroe, is assisting the family. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net
