William E. Fritsch

Age 62, of Orfordville, died following a brief illness on Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Monroe Hospital. Bill was born on April 26, 1961 in Freeport, the son of Kearney and Reva (Napier) Fritsch. He graduated from Lena-Winslow High School in 1979. Bill was employed at Advance Transformer, Stoughton Trailers, and most recently Kuhn North America in Brodhead. He enjoyed music, dancing, sports (especially Kentucky Wildcat basketball, Chicago Bears, Chicago Blackhawks, and car racing), but most of all loved to spend time with his family and friends. He was known to be a hard worker and like spending time manicuring his lawn.

He is survived by a son, Brayden Fritsch of Wisconsin Dells; three sisters, Nanette (Jack) Crowe of Mesa, AZ, Sherri (Roger) Beyer of Eldridge, IA, Teresa (Robert) Meinert of Rockton, IL; and several nieces and nephews. He is further survived by Brayden's mother, Vicki Fogel of Orfordville, and her two daughters, Stephanie (Andrew) Jordan of Sun Prairie, and Mindy (Jeffri) Hurm of Friendship, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 12:00 p.m., at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 1329 31st. Ave, Monroe. Interment will follow in Rock Lily Cemetery, Winslow, IL. Visitation will precede the service on Saturday beginning at 10:00 a.m. A memorial fund will be established in his name. Condolences may be shared at www.newcomerfuneralhome.net

Bill's family would like to thank the Monroe Hospital I.C.U. staff, respiratory therapists, and Dr. Netzel for their wonderful care.
